THE BRIEF
CN Photography was commissioned to document the GUGB 2026 Grand Finale at The Belfry Hotel & Resort — a celebratory evening marking the culmination of the charity initiative’s Mind Over Matter campaign.
The event brought together entrepreneurs, business owners, participants, sponsors and supporters to recognise the people behind six physical challenges and a record-breaking fundraising year. The brief was to capture the formal programme, guest experience, entertainment and genuine sense of shared achievement throughout the evening.

THE APPROACH
Coverage combined polished event photography with natural documentary storytelling. I captured wide scenes establishing the atmosphere and scale of the occasion alongside speakers, key moments on stage, entertainment, guest interactions and spontaneous reactions.
Working unobtrusively allowed the evening to unfold naturally while creating a varied gallery that communicated both the professionalism of the event and the people-driven purpose behind it.

The completed gallery documented more than a polished charity event — it captured the community behind a campaign that raised over £172,000 for four brain injury charities.
The photographs created a versatile visual library for celebrating participants, thanking sponsors and supporters, communicating the campaign’s impact and building momentum for future GUGB initiatives.
