THE BRIEF
The Centre for the New Midlands commissioned CN Photography to document its Reimagining the Region Spring Reception, hosted and curated by Arcadis at 103 Colmore Row in Birmingham.
The members’ event brought organisations from across the region together to explore how the West Midlands Growth Plan could be brought to life through design, with collaborative discussions around transport-oriented development, mixed-use development and high-rise development.

THE APPROACH
Working across a busy networking and workshop environment, I moved discreetly between presentations, table discussions and informal conversations.
The coverage focused on authentic interaction, participant engagement, speakers, branded details and the city setting, allowing the sessions to continue naturally while creating a varied and cohesive visual record of the evening.

A collaborative evening, documented with purpose.
The final gallery gave the Centre for the New Midlands a complete visual account of the reception, capturing the atmosphere, participation and cross-sector collaboration at the heart of its Reimagining the Region network.
The resulting image library was created for event recaps, member communications, social media and the promotion of future regional programmes.
